Liam Maher is a doctoral student in art history at Temple University's Tyler School of Art and Architecture. His research examines queerness, Catholicism and anti/coloniality in contemporary Latin American art.
"Andy Warhol: Revelation," open at the Brooklyn Museum through June 2022, examines Warhol's iconic works from an oft-overlooked perspective: his Catholic faith. Despite its shortcomings, the exhibit is thought-provoking.
