One of my principal complaints against some priests, and some bishops, is that they reduce religion to ethics and, in making their ethical arguments, fail to root their arguments in our dogmatic beliefs, specifically in the Paschal Mystery. So, it is especially incumbent upon me to call attention to the exceptions, and Bishop Daniel Flores of Brownsville has posted a very powerful blog commentary on the anniversary of Roe, "The Hunger Games," and how we must view these through the prism of our faith in the power of Christ to overcome the world, as He promised. Really good stuff. (h/t to Rocco.)
