Arthur Jones says, "Each age envisions Mary differently -- in ours, surely it's her unique influence as an intelligent woman, mother and wife. Our visual metaphor: Robert Graham's Mary -- the bare-headed working woman, her bare welcoming arms outstretched above LA’s Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels’ main portal.

"My Marian devotion mix includes a war-torn childhood, my 1978 Reassessing (a rosary reflection on possessions and relationships), and my new book Mary, a Mother Waiting."
